Welcome! I’m Bethany, married to Timothy, mama to Dean and June. We live in North Carolina, in the suburbs, although I’m trying to convince Timothy to buy a farm with me. We keep chickens in our backyard, bees in the front yard, and a dog in the house. I dream of gardening; of growing flowers I can cut and bring indoors in pretty vases, and of harvesting Tuscan kale and summer tomatoes and zucchini. 

I’ve always loved dabbling in fiction, but I didn’t really start writing essays until I began therapy a few months ago. It was kind of like journaling, I guess. Writing has helped me process what I’m experiencing. I hope reading helps you in some way, too.
